- Represented and assisted for client in a commercial arbitration and successfully defended 75% of the claims. Challenged the final award by way of an application to set-aside award before the concerned court of District Judge, Dhaka.
- Represented and assisted for client in recovery of money against dishonor of cheques amounting to gross value of USD 15 million.
- Assisted in money suit on behalf of a national flag carrier.
- Assisted in handling a dispute over collection of unpaid L/C payments from a Bangladesh factory on behalf of its USA based client. The dispute involved challenges since recovery was desired but keeping the business relationships intact.
- Assisted and defended client in a complex IP litigation concerning trademark and designs infringements.
- Assisted in a dispute with the hospital management that placed a purchase order for a MRI systems and the client was asked to make the installation after the installation site was ready. However, the hospital management failed to provide appropriate site to our client which hindered the installation process. Subsequently drafted a legal notice and the matter was resolved out of court with business relations intact.
- Assisted in defending a renowned university against several law suits filed against it on frivolous grounds by an ex lessee of the campus property.
- Assisted in resolving the dispute between client and one of its customers who had agreed to purchase client’s mobile handsets in large quantities.
- Assisted in applications for condonation of delay in holding Annual General Meeting (AGM) and other company matters.
